Nicole Ritchie confirmed her pregnancy with Diane Sawyer and says the DUI arrest was one of many bad decisions she was making at that time in her life.  Nicole admitted she was wrong for driving after smoking mariguana and felt really bad for that decision.  Ritchie says she is 4 months pregnant and is not taking any controlled substances right now.  Okay.  I just would have assumed that since she is pregnant and all right now.
Nicole Ritchie, daughter of grammy award winning singer, Lionel Ritchie, dodged another bullet today in court and was sentenced to a paltry 4 days in prison for her 2nd DUI arrest earlier this year.¬†¬† Ritchie arrive to the Glendale courthouse just around 8:00am with her baby’s daddy, Joel Madden on her arm.¬† Ritchie’s parents did not accompany her but celebrity manager Benny Medina arrived on the scene only moments before Nicole and Joel arrived.¬† Benny Medina indicated he was only ther for support.¬† No doubt probably a favor to her famous dad, Lionel Ritchie.¬†
The paparazzi crush was nowhere near what it¬†had been¬†for Paris Hilton’s turn in court. Nicole has been laying very low through all of this so the minimal paparazzi thing was probably good for her.¬† If she continues to lay low, she probably will serve about 30 minutes of time instead of 4 days. Process in. Process out.
No one is above the law these days, including Miss Ritchie.
Nicole Richie flew to Canada with her baby’s daddy, Joel Madden, expecting to avoid going to court on Wednesday, when her DUI trial was supposed to start. Her lawyer went on Tuesday to court asking that the start date be delayed until August.
And she just got denied!!!!
Richie’s attorney is expected in court tomorrow morning at 8:30 A.M. to argue why they should postpone the start date. The judge will rule then to delay the trial or not. Judging from what Paris Hilton just went through, Nic should just show up as humble as possible, pregnant and all. I guess the law is getting sick of these girls out here with all of this mess.
Reports surfaced over the weekend that Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden started a fight with some dude from MTV’s The Hills over Nicole Ritchie. Apparently, there was a rumor going around that dude was bad mouthing Nicole and when Joel saw him at the Beverly Hills Hotel, he walked right up to him and confronted him. Allegedly, there was scuffle and both were asked to leave the premesis.
Aaaw, look at him being all protective over Nicole. He may be a keeper after all. I like a guy who will stand up for me instead of hiding behind me.
Anyhoo, I do not know that dude’s name from The Hills and I am too lazy to look it up so he will always be “dude” on this blog.
Star Magazine says Nicole Ritchie and Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden are expecting a boy. Wow! That’s outrageous if they know all of that already. I mean, how many months pregnant is she any way? Is it possible to even know at this stage in the game? Hollywood is so crazy …
Hillary Duff celebrated the 4th of July with a huge bash in Malibu. Other guests included her sister, Hailey and reality tv star, Brody Jenner.¬† Duff is rumored to be dating Brody right now, but I don’t know if I beleive that just yet.¬†
Hillary looks like she is feeling no pain in these photos while her ex boyfriend, Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden is expecting a child with Nicole Ritchie. Good for you Hillary!¬† She should be fine. Her album is doing very well on the charts and received very good reviews from the critics. Plus, Hillary is on the Bratz The Movie soundtrack, which will be dropping on July 31st.
