The Hills star jason Wahler is being sued by Department of Transportation officer Jaonathan Wallace for battery. The suit, which was filed on Friday morning in LA County superior court also states Wahler is a racist. Wahler is accused of calling Wallace a “ni@@er”, “f#g”, “motherf*&$er” and “fatass”.

In the lawsuit, Wallace says Jason Wahler and model Krisen DeLuca approached him while he was impounding a car when Jason began “thrusting his chest into Wallace and insulting him with racial slurs and threats and swearing profusely”. Wallace also says Jason initiated physical contact with another tow truck driver by repeatedly punching him in the face. Wallace says that we was also hit in the eye while Jason was assaulting the other man.

The LAPD arrived to the scene and arrested bother Wahler and DeLuca. Cops say Jaon’s alcohol level was 3 times the legal limit.

Wallace is asking for $200,000 in damages. Jason better get back to work on The Hills to start paying off some of his legal fees.

Ex Laguna Beach brat Jason Wahler says he is really embarrassed about all of his arrests. This is what he had to say to People Magazine:

“I’m embarrassed as hell, but I really do not remember my arrests,” said Wahler in the June 22 issue of People. “They’re blackouts. And that’s scary.”

While Wahler’s memory may be wobbly about his alleged alcohol-fueled arrests, they are well documented. Last September, Wahler reportedly punched a tow-truck driver as well as a Los Angeles city employee and was accused of using racial slurs against two of the victims, who are African-American. He pleaded no contest to one count of battery and received a two-month jail sentence and was also required to attend a one-day program at the Museum of Tolerance.

Wahler was due to begin serving his sentence in early May, but that was delayed by a judge because of what People described as a stint in “serious rehab.”

“It’s exhausting,” Wahler told People of the two months he’s spent in rehab. “But after I started getting back to my senses, it was cool to get up in the morning and not be all hurting.”

Wahler was hurting so much due to all the drinking he was doing, a bad habit that landed him in trouble yet again only a month after being sentenced for the alleged September beating when he was arrested on April 8 in Seattle and booked on charges of assault and criminal trespassing.

According to the incident report, officers responded to a disturbance at a Marriott hotel where a security guard claimed two guests had been wrestling in the lobby. After issuing warnings to stop, the guard reportedly accused Wahler of punching him in the mouth before being restrained by a friend. Wahler then allegedly fled the hotel, only to return “a short time later” when police found him passed out in a third-floor hallway “smelling strongly of alcohol.”

“I did try drugs, but it was never my thing. It was alcohol, for sure,” Wahler told People. “It would take me about 10 drinks before that other side came out. It’s like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.”

Wahler’s legal troubles may not be getting as much attention as a certain 26-year-old The Simple Life star who is currently being held in Los Angeles’ Century Regional Detention Center and serving the remainder of her 45-day sentence that resulted from parole violations of a September 2006 drunken driving conviction. However the similarities are still enough for Wahler himself to notice them.

“I relate to Paris Hilton,” he told People. “Because she’s the same age as I am. I’m only 20. And to say that I can’t drink ever again — even on my 21st birthday — is hard. But I don’t care, as long as I’m healthy and happy.”

But therein lies the problem for Wahler, as his four run-ins with the law — don’t forget his March arrest in Greenville, NC for underage drinking and resisting a public officer during a raid at a local nightclub — have all involved alcohol in some way or another and he’s not even old enough to enjoy the occasional libation.

Wahler told People he considered himself a social drinker, that is “until I started becoming someone I’m truly not.” His celebrity status from The Hills and Laguna Beach also didn’t make it any easier to stop drinking.

“Anyone who’s big in Hollywood who’s underage gets in [to clubs],” he told People.

On April 12 Wahler ditched the club scene for a stay in Orange County’s Chapman House inpatient rehab facility. Once there, he realized what the demons that were hounding him had done to his life.

“When I was away from L.A., sober, not surrounded with random people, I finally realized, ‘I’m killing myself,’” he told People.

After a summer split with her Laguna Beach costar Jason Wahler and a fall fling with Brody Jenner that didn’t quite last a month, Lauren Conrad says she’s learned some important life lessons.

“Breaking up with Jason was the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” the Hills star, who recently celebrated her 21st birthday, tells CosmoGIRL! in its March issue. “I still wanted to be with him but I knew that I couldn’t be.”

She helped mend her broken heart with the aid of a pal: The Hills costar Heidi Montag. “I was so fortunate to have Heidi, who is my best friend. She took me away on a road trip to Las Vegas, and we had the best time,” Conrad says.

“It was important for me to know that I could still have a good time without a boyfriend. I slept in her bed for a month because I couldn’t go into my room. The only thing that heals a broken heart is time. But it really helps hanging out with your girlfriends as much as possible.”

Now, Conrad, who was recently named the spokesperson for Avon’s mark. brand, is focused on her career: “I’ve been given an opportunity with Laguna Beach and The Hills, and my father ‚Äì who is the smartest man I know ‚Äì has advised me to capitalize on those opportunities,” she says. “So that’s what I’m trying to do ‚Äì make contacts, get to know people. Hopefully that will help me as I start moving into my fashion career.”

And she already has some fashion tips for young women. “Sometimes I look at what really young girls wear and I can’t believe it ‚Äì I have underwear that covers more than what some of them have on!

“I think it’s important that girls know that they can be attractive and sexy in a classy way and that guys actually like that more than when they see girls who show a lot of skin. For me, I like clothes and I like to wear them to cover up.”

When an MTV crew showed up at the San Francisco Academy of Art to film one of Heidi Montag’s classmates, she wasn’t too impressed. You see, Heidi had never seen Laguna Beach or its star, Lauren Conrad. But, much to the delight of network execs, the two hit it off and started plotting a move to Los Angeles. The rest was history. Soon Heidi and L.C. were given their own spin-off, The Hills, and Heidi was a breakout star.

For the second season, Heidi has been promoted at her event-planning job with Bolthouse Productions—which means more fun out on the town. The camera-hungry hellcat was as eager to strut her stuff for Stuff’s lens as she is every Monday night at 10 P.M.—and the results speak for themselves.

STUFF: Did you have fun doing our photo shoot?
HEIDI: Oh, I couldn’t wait! I love being sexy, and I’m up for whatever.

So you went from Crested Butte, Colorado, to the Hollywood Hills.
Yeah, and it’s a long way! I’ve loved absolutely every minute of it.

Having cameras follow you around all the time never bothers you?
Reality TV is a really fun, privileged world, and I’m just happy to be a part of it. I mean, if you need a minute to yourself, you aren’t going to get it, but you just have to realize it’s what you signed up for, because those difficult moments are what make for a much better show.

Are any episodes particularly hard for you to watch?
No, I don’t take any of it too seriously. With friends it’s hard sometimes. You’re like, “Wait, I didn’t say that!” Or you say something you don’t want a friend to see and then she sees it, and you’re like, “Ahh, just kidding!”

How about watching the sobfest when you dumped your lame boyfriend Jordan?
That was easy. It was the best decision of my life. I should have done that so much sooner.

Does that mean he and Lauren’s boyfriend Jason won’t be returning this season?
Oh, no! They are so done. They can have their own show called The Valley or something. This season is a million times better. It’s very Sex and the City—a lot more about sex and hooking up with guys, parties we go to and the whole Hollywood scene instead of us just sitting at home with our boyfriends. It’s a much friskier show now.

So no holding back this time?
Definitely not. I was a little more reserved last year, but now I’m like, whatever—I’m going out with a bang.

What’s the weirdest thing about people recognizing you?
When people come up to me and say things like, “You’re prettier in person.” I’m like, “Did you think I was a freak or something?” I don’t really know what to say to people with comments like that. But life after the show is great! It’s nothing but parties, having fun and meeting amazing people.

Which celebrities were you most excited to meet?
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were really nice, but I think the best was when I hung out with Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton.

Did you talk with them about what it’s like to be on reality TV?
Yeah. They have a different version of it, but we’re definitely our own little community.

And just like Paris, you’re recording your own album, right?
Well, it’s under wraps right now, and I’m not sure what the details are, but it’s something I’m passionate about, and you’ll probably see some of it this season.

What kind of music is it?
It’s a mixture of Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and Janet Jackson. I want to bring older elements and albums into it, too. It’ll be very sexy and fun; it’ll be very Heidi. [Laughs] I want to make a new genre.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years, hopefully I’ll have a couple of hit albums and do some movies, too.

And in the meantime you’re happy with life on The Hills?
Hey, it’s TV, so whatever. I just take things as they come and try not to have too-high expectations. I’m having a lot of fun, and that’s all that matters!
